Camel Trek 4 Days/3 Nights
We start our trek in M’Hamid, following the river bed of Oued Draa, crossing the picturesque palm
grove of M’Hamid. We will get a first idea of the vast expanse of the Sahara desert. Enjoy lunch and
tea in Rasse Nkhal, and take a little break before we continue further into the desert. Our afternoon
walk will take us to the foot of the sand dunes of Sidi Naji, where we set up camp for the night.
Admire your first desert sunset at the sanctuary of Sidi Naji.
Just like the Nomads, we rise with the sun, load our camels and head out across the sand dunes of
the Sahara. Around noon we reach Erg Ez-Zahar where we have lunch and tea in the shade of a
Tamarisk tree, relax for a while. We continue trekking into the sahara, tonight we set up camp in the
middle of the desert, amid majestic sand dunes. This is one of our favorite camp spots!
This morning we continue to cross the Moroccan desert towards Lhdibate. In Etonr we take a well
deserved break, have some tea and eat lunch. You never know what you might encounter in the
desert, today it may be a Berber nomad or a camel searching for water near the sand dunes. Another
couple hours of trekking will take us to Erg Borabra, our camp spot for tonight.
We break down camp in the morning and load our camels for the last time on this trip. Enjoy our
morning walk towards Lbour, lunch and tea in Lbour. In the afternoon we head back along the Draa
River Valley, through the palm tree grove back to M’Hamid.
